More than 1 session will be required. The high frequency of the ultrasound wave results in heating under the skin, effectively destroying the fat cells and tightening the skin in the area treated. The treated cells are then flushed away via the body's natural removal process. This process continues for up to 6 months post-treatment. Patients may experience a slight buzzing sound due to the sound waves; this is in no way irritable. The treatment will last approximately 20-30 minutes, although the length of time is dependent upon the individual’s fat tissue density.
